Pittsburgh Norml monthly meeting July 20th 2019

Please join Pgh NORML for our FREE and PUBLIC monthly meeting that will focus on cannabis DUI and the influence of marijuana on psychomotor performance and accident risk.

Paul Armentano, Deputy Director of NORML and the NORML foundation, author of Marijuana is Safer: So Why Are We Driving People To Drink?, has made an extremely educational slide deck that he shared at the National 2018 NORML Conference in Washington DC.

Now we are sharing with you!

Lawyers will also be on site to answer all of your cannabis related legal questions, for FREE!

The friendly staff at the PA medical marijuana education center will be on site as well to help answer all of your mmj questions, including how to register and how to re-certify.

Pennsylvania 2019 Cannabis Lobby Day

Our Pennsylvania 2019 Cannabis Lobby Day* is anticipated to be an exciting day in our State Capitol. On March 18, NORML Chapters from across Pennsylvania will descend upon Harrisburg with a unified voice, prepared with lobbying packets, talking points, and scheduled appointments with our legislators, all in an effort to promote marijuana policy reform.

Each chapter may be offering carpools or van/bus service to Harrisburg. Our goal is to meet in the East Wing Rotunda of the Capitol around 9am, distribute prepared lobbying packets, and coach our lobbyists before sending them off to their scheduled appointments. Our table will serve as a rendezvous location throughout the day, where we can discuss meeting results, and assist in directing everybody to other anticipated appointments.

Soon we’ll have a lobbying sign-up where everybody can register, making scheduling of appointments easier. Watch this page for alerts, ride-shares/bus signups, and other updates.

We are excited to see everybody on March 18 for our Pennsylvania 2019 Cannabis Lobby Day*!
*This IS NOT a rally. We are focused on a full day of lobbying our legislators.
